Scouting is an ideological movement that seeks
to educate children and youth through military practices and the simple life.
The first camp was a 9 of August
of 1907 in England, led by Robert Baden- Powell that looked for to eradicate
the delinquency in the young. Its growth around the world didn't take much,
arriving in Chile on May 9, 1909.
I think Scouting is very
interesting because it makes us see life in a different way, appreciate nature
as a gift from God and create ties with people that you see grow.
I'm a scout since 2010, I started
as a "golondrina" (which is the first stage) and today I'm the head
of 32 girls.
I have a meeting every Saturday
where I teach them about nature, live in community, face risk situations, cook,
set up camps, etc.
For my Scout is my life, has
taught me everything I know and has allowed me to be better every day. One day
I promised to leave this world better than I found it.
once scout, always scout💕
