The best subject

My favorite subject in my first year at university is “Historia social de Chile” dictated by the teacher Daniel Fauré with Nicky Cerón that is assitant. I have this class every Wednesday at 10:15 in the morning.

In this class the teacher focus content in the Chilean society, our development as a historical subject and the struggles. The classes have been oriented to understand the creation of the historical subject from the constitution of different key characters, for example: the peasant or the pawn.

I like this class because I think it is important to know about the past that we have as a lower class, it is the different struggles of the peasant to recognize himself as a political and historical subject that constitute the working class up to the present. Besides, I like how the teacher gives his classes, since he not only teaches what has been imposed on us since school, but also shows us new horizons of knowledge

After each class, I’m left wondering how can I continue with the legacy of my past? I hope some day to have the strength and knowledge to face those who dominate us

an expert in your field that you admire

Michel Foucault was a historian, philosopher, psychologist, social theorist and professor. Born in France and recognized throughout the world for his influence on the conflicts of society. His approach allows a critique of modernity, based on Nietzsche and Kant.

It is for the social sciences and humanism a fundamental author to understand conflicts about power, government, governmentality, biopolitics, security, population, among others.

His books are the records of these studies, because they are based on the different speeches that Foucault made in his chairs. Among his most famous works stands out: "watch and punish" "history of madness in the classical era" "words and things"

I like this author because it expresses new ways of understanding society and demonstrates the power that the government exercises over us every day, giving us the possibility to question this situation and open up new possibilities.

In addition, in the university they have taught us about their thinking and their ideology, which has made it more interesting. I invite you to meet Foucault!

Master and Me

I really like the photos especially if they are of things that I love. Although I'm not professional or don’t have a good camera, I'm constantly taking pictures of anything.

My favorite photo in the world is this, in which I go out with my dog named Master. For my Master is more than a pet, is a friend who came to light and accompany my days.

This photo was taken by the year 2008 by my mom in my house, in the photo you can see that I was a little girl and Master was a puppy.

This photo is my favorite because we were both small and I feel nostalgic to know that he has always been with me, he has grown up with me.
At present, Master is between 9 and 10 years. He really is very playful though now this old dog.

Every day I don’t forget to greet him and tell him how much I love him when he sleeps with me. I really don’t imagine a life without him and every day I thank God for putting it in my life

Scout

Scouting is an ideological movement that seeks to educate children and youth through military practices and the simple life.
The first camp was a 9 of August of 1907 in England, led by Robert Baden- Powell that looked for to eradicate the delinquency in the young. Its growth around the world didn't take much, arriving in Chile on May 9, 1909.
I think Scouting is very interesting because it makes us see life in a different way, appreciate nature as a gift from God and create ties with people that you see grow.
I'm a scout since 2010, I started as a "golondrina" (which is the first stage) and today I'm the head of 32 girls.

I have a meeting every Saturday where I teach them about nature, live in community, face risk situations, cook, set up camps, etc.

For my Scout is my life, has taught me everything I know and has allowed me to be better every day. One day I promised to leave this world better than I found it.

once scout, always scout💕

My favourite piece of technology

I think the technology is very useful because it gives us many facilities and allows us to connect from anywhere. However, I think in the last time technology has made us dependent on it, this produces that each day we are more comfortable and we don't know how to communicate directly with the people around us.

My favourite piece of technology is my Iphone, that I bought in January of this year. I use it every day, to listen to music, watch videos, read, take photos, talk, be connected in my social networks and much more!

I really like my Iphone because it is the perfect size and I can customize it every day according to my mood💃

Although this in love with my cell phone, I might be without it because sometimes it is necessary to disconnect and start talking face to face

Why did I choose my career

When I was a little girl (I'm still a girl jiji) I wanted to be a singer or dancer, but it didn't work because I didn't give him time and my parents didn't have money to pay for an academy 😭

When I was in high school I wanted to be a cook because in my family there are many of them and could be a shared vocation, however my vocation was not that.
After much thinking and consulting with people who know me, I decided that contact with people and act in social causes really is mine.

My experience so far is amazing because I have met spectacular people and I like what the university teaches. I'm enjoying university life! 😍

In the future I would like to work directly on the ground and in contact with people, to achieve changes in their lives and a personal relationship with each one of them.
